ISEMA Down Under 2023 will take place during the week of 25-29 September 2023 at the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus. It will be a four-day event with accompanying virtual offerings. Students can attend the event for a reduced fee and there are opportunities for companies to showcase their products and services. A social program is offered for accompanying persons and family members.

Non- and less invasive electrical and electromagnetic measurement methods have become indispensable in many engineering and scientific disciplines. For other disciplines, they are only gradually being introduced for exploration and monitoring purposes. Driven by a better understanding of the physical processes in substances and materials when excited by an electromagnetic field, accompanied by ever better measurement options, including miniaturized devices, more and more new fields of application are being opened up.

The International Conference on Electromagnetic Wave Interaction with Water and Moist Substances of the International Society for Electromagnetic Aquametry (ISEMA) is the international platform to bring together researchers and developers of innovative electromagnetic measurement and analysis methods from various disciplines to exchange experiences, to crossfertilize new ideas and to establish new connections for future collaborations.

We would like to invite you all to come to the ISEMA Down Under 2023 to visit Brisbane and the beautiful South East Queensland with its natural beauty and unique flora and fauna.

We look forward to welcoming you here in Brisbane and at the University of Queensland.
